Help Jayva get her ACL surgery
My daughter Amie's beloved Cane Corso needs surgery and I am trying to help her out with the expensive cost. Amie noticed Jayva was limping on her hind left leg, having immobility issues and pain. After a visit with the vet she got the difficult news that Jayva had torn her ACL and needed TPLO surgery. While this type of surgery is common among large dogs it is unfortunately on the expensive side - $5000- $6000.
She had some money saved, Jayva was scheduled for surgery in late August but sadly, Jayva woke up last week with a swollen front paw. After two emergency visits to the vet she was diagnosed with a severe bacterial infection that required surgery and a 3 day stay at the hospital - all with a hefty cost of over $6,000! Jayva is now resting easy at home, and her TPLO surgery has been delayed until she fully recovers.
Anyone who knows my daughter Amie can attest to her unconditional love and dedication to Jayva's well-being. As all devoted pet owners know your furry friends are like family and for Amie there's not a price she wouldn't pay to make Jayva happy and healthy again. Due to the unexpected surgery on Jayva's front paw, Amie used the money she had saved and is now struggling to come up with additional funds to get the TPLO surgery done!
This is why I decided to start a GoFundMe for Amie and Jayva. I am asking our family and friends to donate to Jayva's surgery so she can get back to her happy, playful self and pain-free! All funds donated will go directly to medical bills.
On behalf of Jayva, Amie and me, we are grateful for any donations made and for taking the time to support us!
