Help Us Get Jayden Help

Jayden is 15 years old diagnosed with Autism as well as other mental health issues. Since 2016 we have been struggling to safely keep Jayden home with his family. Jayden has been increasingly showing us it’s just not safe for him to stay home anymore. He is 6’3 and he cans (and often does) run. Into traffic, into homes, into businesses. He has gotten out of vehicles on highways (while stopped or slowed down). He has also begun hitting me, his mom, and it’s just a matter of time before one of us is severely injured. We have found  a place willing to accept him and help us, it’s in Tennessee. We live in Northern IL. We have exhausted all ways for him to be taken there. I am desperate. So I am going to drive him next week. I cannot take my own vehicle as I am not even sure it can make the trip. So I need to rent a van and also stay in a hotel for the night after Jayden is placed, before returning home. The last 3 years taking care of him and my mother with Alzheimer’s has left me nearly bankrupted. Any money raised will go to the rental, hotel and gas and food. Any extra will go to fixing my van so we continue to have reliable transportation. Thank you so much.
