Help Us Get Home: Support for a Safe Journey

Help me and my dog come home!

I headed to denver in September for the health care. It was cheaper to drive there then it was to get the surgeries done in Florida. (I needed oral and and endometriosis surgery). Now that those surgeries are completed I am trying to come home! As you guys know I'm homeless living out of my car and the temps are getting below freezing now. I tried to have my items back in Florida to be sold (to help finance my trip back) or at least to be donated to hurricane survivors. Unfortunately that won't be happening, a decision made not by myself.

My dog and I have been staying warm most nights and eating at shelters (that are too full to house us). But last night I spent my last $5 on laundry to wash our sleeping bag and the washer broke, leaving the sleeping bag and the rest of our blankets soaking wet with not enough quarters left for the extra hours of drying it would take to now dry them. That you guys, was my final straw after overcoming so many more obstacles I'm not even going to bother listing. And as for getting a job, i left my ID at one of the surgery centers. ive called every single one and they cant locate it. And if you know denver, then you know you cannot get a job with out an goverment issued ID. Trust me, I've tried!
