Update 10/25: due to having to hospitalize her and get an additional sedated bone marrow test, we are now looking at $15k. We already owe over $8k. I know most people will say it's "just" a cat. But she has been my lifeline, my cheerleader, my support. If we lose our very special fuzzy baby the same week we find out my cancer has metastasized, I won't be able to handle it. Plus she is the greatest cat and deserves it. Period.

Our beloved, sweetest cat Ember has cancer. She needs a blood transfusion and ultrasound today. The urgent care we brought her to cannot do those things. We were told to expect $6,000+ more at the ER vet that we are headed to right now.

If there is anything that can be done, we need to save her. If not we need to make sure. I am going through my pancreatic cancer right now and she has been my lifeline. As I lay in bed during chemo and after surgery she was always there, cuddling me. Please, please help. She is my best friend and I cannot do this without my "Dr. Gudkat."
