Meet Dixie—our sweet, spirited dog who's been through a tough journey and is showing us all what resilience looks like.

A few weeks ago, Dixie suffered a spinal injury that temporarily took away her ability to walk. It was one of the scariest moments of our lives. But thanks to quick action, veterinary care, and the love and support from so many of you, Dixie is making an incredible recovery.

We’re thrilled to share that she did not need surgery—a huge relief! Instead, she began physiotherapy, and with each session, she’s regained strength and confidence. Dixie is now walking again, wagging her tail, and even playing gently with her best friend, our roommate’s cat, Pinky.

While we’ve made amazing progress, Dixie isn’t fully back to her old self just yet. She still needs several more physiotherapy sessions to restore her strength and mobility. These ongoing treatments are essential—but they come with a growing cost.
