Hi, my name is Amber, I'm 25, and I'm fundraising for my dad, Adam — my best friend, my rock, and the strongest man I know.

My dad has lived with MS for most of my childhood and is a wheelchair user. Despite everything, he has always been the most supportive, loving and hilarious person in our lives.

He's a proud father to me and my sister Chyna (34), stepdad to Vicki (35) and Spencer (17), and we tragically lost my brother, Harley in 2015 at just 16 years old. He has loved and cared for us all as his own.

He's also the rock for his twin sister, Michelle, and his older brother, Mark. No matter what he is facing himself, he is always the one supporting everyone else.

My fiance, Ben (his soon-to-be son-in-law) adores him, and the feeling is mutual. And most importantly, he is "Papa" to my daughter, Wrenley - his first granddaughter and the absolute light of his life!

And he is the BIGGEST Elvis fan you'll ever meet, so much so that it drives us all mad…

In December 2025, Dad was admitted to hospital with a chest infection that developed into pneumonia. I was 9 months pregnant at the time. It was one of the hardest periods our family has ever faced.

My daughter, Wrenley, was born in December, 10 days overdue, after a traumatic birth experience. While I was recovering, my dad was in a respiratory ward on oxygen, antibiotics, receiving treatment for a collapsed lung and intensive respiratory physio.

Because of the ward he was on, he couldn't meet his granddaughter.

Nearly three weeks later, after he was transferred to a rehab facility, I was finally able to take Wrenley to meet her Papa. I have never felt happiness like that moment - watching my dad meet his granddaughter for the first time.

He began improving in rehab. He was receiving physio, getting stronger, and we even had a discharge date in place.

Then his oxygen levels dropped again.

He was taken back into hospital. He initially responded to treatment, but again his oxygen levels fell, requiring ICU support. While he remains in good spirits (typical Dad), his condition isn't improving as we had hoped.

He now requires oxygen support and respiratory physio, including the use of a cough assist machine because his MS-related muscle weakness means he cannot clear his chest independently.

Without this machine, he cannot safely return home.

The hospital is unable to provide one for community use. The cost to purchase one privately is £8,158.

On top of that, he will likely require:

• Increased care at home

• Potentially private physiotherapy to rebuild strength

• Oxygen adaptations to the house

• Ongoing support to manage his MS and respiratory needs

He hasn't been home in over two months.

He misses his dog, Angel.

We miss sitting in his house laughing.

Michelle misses her twin.

Mark misses his bruv.

Ben misses winding him up.

And Wrenley deserves to grow up with her Papa at home!

We just want him back where he belongs, taking care of business.
