We’ve set up this GoFundMe to support one of our incredible team members, Casper.

Casper’s motorbike—his pride and joy—was recently stolen and completely destroyed. To make matters worse, his previous bike had also been vandalised. It’s heartbreaking, not just to hear about, but to imagine what Casper is going through after working so hard and looking forward to something that brought him freedom and joy.

Casper is a huge part of the team at the Inn on the Shore, and we honestly don’t know what we’d do without him. He brings energy, kindness, and a wicked sense of humour to every shift. Our customers love him, and so do we.

Through the winter, Casper battled Cornwall’s unreliable public transport just to get to work—never complaining, always turning up with a smile. It meant longer journeys, fewer working hours, and a longer wait to save up for his new bike. To have it taken from him so quickly, in such a cruel way, feels incredibly unfair.

If you know Casper, you’ll know just how kind, hardworking, and genuine he is. It’s truly hard to believe something like this could happen to someone so good-hearted.

We’re hoping to raise enough to help Casper replace his bike and get back on the road—where he belongs. Every donation, no matter how small, will help show him how loved and appreciated he is.
