Hi, I'm Karen the founder of TAG and I'm raising funds for Betty.

Betty had a terrible start to life, she was according to people a free runner at the local council pound and was running around with a massive Tumour on her back leg with no help at all , which would have been extremely painful and causing much discomfort to her.

We had messages saying a dog was spotting in town skeleton with a massive tumour could we help.

Every sighting once we got there she was gone.

LUCK you could say but Betty one day appeared outside our charity shop, frightened, Skinny but I managed to get her inside and called Arda out veterinary and together we got her in the car.

She had to have a quick operation and a 2nd operation followed BUT thankfully 1 year down the line she is in great health.

She's a senior dog around 9 years old and finding a home for her in turkey has unfortunately not happened so we have long term foster for her in Scotland until a home is found.

Betty is currently at our vets clinic and has started the process of being microchip, Rabies and passport.

WE need funding with her blood tests, 4. 5 months wait at the vets and the biggest costs are the transport costs.

This is Betty's only chance as we've tried for the past year to find her a home in turkey and it's been unsuccessful!
