Help Us Get Bella the Testing & Care She Desperately Needs

Hi friends, family, and kind strangers —

I’m reaching out on behalf of my sweet 5-year-old daughter, Bella. After years of fighting for answers, we finally have the chance to get her in with a top specialist — someone who might help us get to the root of what’s going on. But unfortunately, it’s all out of pocket… and insurance doesn’t cover the extensive testing and care she needs.

Bella has spent most of her life battling a complex mix of debilitating symptoms — chronic constipation, urinary issues, anxiety, sensory struggles, developmental regressions, and more. She’s dealt with recurrent infections, has been on over 120 days of antibiotics, and has had multiple hospital visits just to try and find relief. These aren’t just mild challenges — they are deeply disruptive to her ability to live a normal childhood.

We’ve tried everything traditional medicine had to offer: medications, multiple types of therapy, specialists, hospital stays, procedures, and more lab work than I can begin to count. Despite all of that, we’re still left without answers and without a clear path forward. It’s heartbreaking watching your child suffer and feeling like no one knows how to help.

Now, we’ve finally been offered a spot with a specialist who understands complex immune and neurological conditions like PANS/PANDAS. This could be a huge turning point — but it comes at a cost. Between comprehensive labs, consultations, travel, and ongoing follow-ups, we’re facing thousands of dollars out of pocket, and we simply can’t do it alone.

We hate to ask, but we know we can’t give up. Bella deserves answers. She deserves to feel like herself again. She deserves to thrive — not just survive.
