Our daughters sweet Australian Shepherd, Bear, is more than just a pet—she’s the heart and soul of our family. Recently, Bear was in a tragic accident where her foot was run over by a vehicle. She’s been so brave, but the injury is severe, and she needs surgery and specialized care as soon as possible to heal and get back to the adventurous, love-filled life she brings to everyone around her.

The total cost of Bear’s care is $2,411.57, but we’re asking for $3,000 to ensure we can cover anything unexpected. Any funds left over will be donated to a local animal charity, just like Bear would want—helping other animals in need.

Bear isn’t just our best friend—she’s everyone’s best friend. We call her “The Other Mom” because she’s helped raise everything from rescue puppies to kittens, and even our daughter's babies! With five human siblings and one fur bestie, Bear has a lot of love to give, and there’s truly no end to her care and compassion.

She’s also a rock-climbing, trail-running, snow-sledding, river-rafting, surfing dynamo who makes every day an adventure. Oh, and don’t even get her started on water—if it’s wet, she’s diving in. (We’re seriously starting to think she’s part seal!)

Right now, Bear needs our help more than ever. She’s given so much to our family and to the world, and we’re determined to give her the care she needs to heal and thrive.
