I am a single parent doing everything I can to support my 2-year-old daughter. Over the past three months, we’ve faced a series of setbacks that have made it nearly impossible to get to work or even make it to her doctor’s appointments. My car broke down and needs a new battery and a canister purge valve, and I’m behind on my insurance due to spike in my auto quote. I work day in and day out to save up but nothing seems like enough. DSS is refusing to help because i “work too much” 

Right now, I’m living with my parents, who help when they can, but their busy schedules mean I’m often left without reliable transportation. All I want is to get my car back on the road so I can get to work, support my daughter, and start saving for our own apartment. Every dollar raised will go directly to car payments and repairs, giving us the chance to move forward and build a better life.
