Hi, we are Erik & Nat, and we are reaching out with a heavy heart for help with our beloved dog, Eva.

We recently discovered a lump near Eva’s nipple area, and we’re really worried. It could be something serious, possibly a mammary tumor, but we can’t know for sure until she gets seen by a vet. The heartbreaking part is… we don’t have the funds right now to even get a proper diagnosis.

We’ve tried taking her to the vet, but Eva struggles with extreme anxiety and becomes aggressive with strangers, especially in clinical settings. Because of this, she’ll likely need sedation just for an exam — and that alone can cost more than we can afford at the moment.

Here’s what we need help covering:

• Finding a vet who can safely examine Eva

• A proper diagnosis (exam, sedation, and possible imaging or tests)

• If needed, a biopsy to check if the lump is cancerous

• And if it turns out to be malignant, we’ll need help with treatment and surgery

Right now, we’re just trying to get her seen and figure out what’s going on. We’re scared, but we’re hopeful that with your help, we can give Eva the chance she deserves.

Hola, somos Erik y Nat, y estamos escribiendo con el corazón en la mano para pedir ayuda para nuestra perrita querida, Eva.

 Recientemente descubrimos un bulto cerca de una de sus mamas y estamos muy preocupados. Podría ser algo serio, posiblemente un tumor mamario, pero no podemos saberlo con certeza hasta que un veterinario la examine. Lo más difícil es que en este momento no contamos con los fondos necesarios ni siquiera para obtener un diagnóstico adecuado. Intentamos llevarla al veterinario, pero Eva sufre de mucha ansiedad y se pone agresiva con los extraños, especialmente en entornos clínicos. Por eso, probablemente necesitará sedación solo para que puedan revisarla — y eso por sí solo ya cuesta más de lo que podemos cubrir. 

 Esto es lo que necesitamos para poder ayudarla: 

• Encontrar un veterinario que pueda examinarla de forma segura

 • Un diagnóstico adecuado (examen, sedación y posiblemente estudios de imagen o pruebas)

 • Si es necesario, una biopsia para saber si el bulto es canceroso 

• Y si resulta ser maligno, necesitaremos ayuda para cubrir el tratamiento y la cirugía

 En este momento, solo queremos que la vea un profesional y saber qué está pasando. Estamos asustados, pero seguimos con la esperanza de que, con su ayuda, podamos darle a Eva la oportunidad que merece.
