The House of Horrors is over!
We rescued the dogs in time, and now we've brought them to the shelter.
The problem is, the shelter is only JUST ready, there is still so much more to do like:
- Expanding the space for them to run free (we have more land, but currently not enough money to fence it securely, so they don't have as much space as they could have.
- Feeding not just the sponsored HOH dogs, but the other 20 dogs we took in that had nowhere to go
- Pay for their ongoing antibiotics, second vaccinations, medicated washes and treatment needed to get them healthy enough for adoption
- Provide supplements and vitamins, alongside specialised food for those that need it
- Make the place a little nicer! We hope to buy more beds, toys and enrichments for them
Now is the hard part, keeping it running and making it a success to give these dogs the best life we possibly can
