Many people have Autism.
Not everyone is what you would call the 1%
Adrian has severe nonverbal Autism.
He was nuerotypical until after a year of age due to Encephalitis [swelling of the brain]
After the sickness disappeared he lost the ability to speak, eat and walk.
It took a long time and thousands upon thousands of outside and inside home therapy to get him to where he could eat more than baby food, walk without falling and dealing with sensory triggers.
Adding up we have spent close to 80k helping Adrian with daily life.
Although Adrian is generally a happy child, recent test show him trapped in his own mind.
On his hard days Adrian cries for hours on end, self injures out of pure frustration and there is nothing harder than watching your child suffer.
Test show he is receptivly there - as I always knew but his body dosen't always agree.
We found nutrients his body wasn't making or regulating and once added we have a beautiful week where is more aware, loving and sometimes we get words but everytime we implement it makes his sensory issues worse and he regresses again.
Adrian sees a biomedical doctor and after series and series of test we discussed Nuerofeedback and MeRT.
We recently started implementing digestive enzymes and his awareness has peaked again, in fact he said mom again for the first time in years. Again, proving that there are issues in the gut that needs to be healed so his mind can open.
That's where MeRT comes in to play.
Magnetic e-Resonance Therapy (MeRT) is a non-invasive neuromodulation technology aimed at improving the way the brain processes information by restoring optimal brain activity. MeRT therapy is an FDA-approved, non-surgical, non-pharmacological treatment that is personalized for each patients unique needs or goals.

They will also help support his gut health while giving his body what it needs and stimulating parts of the brain.
Therapy is 5 days a week for 45 minutes a day for 6 weeks and we are fortunate enough that if we raise the money for him to go they have a newer center in Miami.
Doctors on all sides agree that this therapy would be Adrians best bet at helping his body calm, help him focus, helping him out sensory wise so he can eat better, possibly stimulate words and give him the chance at a better life.
But of course anything that could help isn't covered under insurance.
We need your help.
Our family hit some hard times, if you know us, you know that we own a small shop, Absolutely Adrian named after our son and we continuously give where and when we can.
I recently went back to work full time and we just can't swing it, and as much as it pains me to ask for help, it pains me to no end that this could be his answer and that I just can't make it happen.
Logan [dad] would need to stay in Miami with him for the 6 weeks so we calculated the expenses, and I have three days off in a row to where I will be able to travel down and see him before traveling back to get back to work.

Thank you so much for sharing, donating, and reading about our progress thus far.
We will keep you posted on all updates.
Here is a video of another child that completed it and her amazing progress:
