My name is Francesco A. Suarez, and on Easter Sunday, April 4, 2021, my family's vehicle was involved in a car accident. I wish we weren't in this situation. However, our minivan is modified for wheelchair accessibility. My brother Felipe Suarez has Cerebral Palsy and wheelchair-bound; our minivan means everything to him. This minivan is his way around to his doctors' appointments, therapy, school, family events, basically anything we all do on our everyday life. This is his way around outside the house. This car was modified for his wheelchair to go inside the vehicle- his electric wheelchair weighs approximately 500 pounds. This minivan is his legs, bluntly speaking. Unfortunately, at this time any further accommodations are limited. There isn't anything without time notice or paying more than an average amount or without any other inconveniences when we think about public transportation. So, what my family and I ask is for donations in buying at least a used modified wheelchair-accessible car.

I want to inform you that insurance is "covering" the damages. Still, the value they estimate our car is as if it is not a modified wheelchair-accessible car, which makes a huge monetary difference. At the moment, doctors appointments, therapy, and all other activities are being postponed(those that can be) and/or having to rely on public transportation(which is very unreliable when dealing with someone who is in the condition my brother is in).
