I’m Allie, and I’m creating this fundraiser for myself and my boyfriend as we try to get through a really difficult financial season. We’ve been doing everything we can to stay afloat while paying rent, bills, groceries, and all the everyday expenses that add up so quickly. On top of that, I’m getting ready to start school soon, and having reliable transportation would make such a huge difference for both of us. Right now, saving for a dependable car has been incredibly hard because there are times when we have to choose between putting money aside and making sure we have enough for groceries after our bills are paid.

My boyfriend currently walks to and from work every day because we can’t afford Uber, and it’s been especially difficult with the heat and the dangerous roads. A reliable car would help make transportation safer and easier, help us keep up with work and school, and take some of the constant stress off our shoulders. We’re not expecting anyone to donate, but if you feel moved to help, anything at all would mean so much to us.
