We are all aware of the devastating situation occurring in Afghanistan right now. Although the crisis is getting less media attention, the situation of the Afghan people is dire. Food prices have spiked, and access to essential services is limited. The situation is overwhelming and appears completely out of our control, but we can still help in small ways.

We have decided to organise a fundraiser to offer support to the families of our dear friends Sahar and Masood. Sahar and Masood live in Melbourne with their one-year-old daughter Haniya but their families and friends are stuck in Kabul. The money we’ll raise will go directly to Sahar’s family, to help them with their basic needs, as well as towards helping widows, orphans and other vulnerable people in their community.
