Help Us Fund The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals!

My name is Crystal Orser and I am a current Oakland University theatre student. This summer, I will be directing a production of The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals originally produced by Starkid Productions, at my university. This is a passion project and a dream of mine, and I cannot wait to put on this show.

However, because this is a personal project, I am getting little to no financial assistance to put the show on. The price for licensing came directly out of my own pocket, and there is still much that still needs to be financed, such as costumes, set, etc. I am asking my community for help funding the arts to create opportunities for the next generation of theatre artists!

All the benefits from this show will go straight to our fund for university students to the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival in the winter.

KCACTF is a theatre festival dedicated to bringing together students of each region and encouraging them to share their work, establish connections, and be recognized for their crafts. Unfortunately, it costs our students money from their own pockets to attend each year, often making this opportunity unreachable for some.

With the help of this show, we can help fund our goal to send even more students to ACTF this year and the years to come!
