Help us fund our Indigenous Short Horror Film
Donation protected
This Land is a short Indigenous horror film currently in pre-production in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Written and directed by Aiyana Shuler and produced by Sophia Rendon, This Land tells the story of Ms. Orson, a woman being haunted by her land.
We want to reach out to our amazing community of locals, filmmakers, artists, families, & friends and anyone else who feels inclined to supporting our dreams.
As independent filmmakers working full-time jobs outside of the film industry we put every extra second and dollar towards funding our future projects, from production to film festival fees. We invite small budgets and creative problem solving happily and are grateful to create projects less reliant on large budgets.
We are trying to raise $8000 dollars between now and the end of August. We are set to film in late August and are seeking funds to support our team with food, housing, equipment, and various other expenses that come with creating an independent film. Additionally, while we cannot compensate our team the way we would like, we would like to compensate anyone for lost hours while helping us use their time and expertise to create this film.
Shuler and Rendon, recently launched their independent production company: Broken Glass Media. Broken Glass Media was created out of a passion for creating a thriving future for independent film and filmmakers, in contrast to the exploitative and substanceless mainstream narratives of corporate filmmaking. Broken Glass creates a space for art and artists whose intention forces audiences to question their own personal perspectives. We believe in a revolutionary kindness and joy that can be created and connected to throughout every aspect of creation of digital media art.
Thank you for considering to support us.
