Dear Friends and Animal Lovers,

We find ourselves in a dire situation and are reaching out to you with a heavy heart. Our beloved cat, Odin, who has been a constant source of joy and comfort in our life, has fallen gravely ill.

Just as we were settling into our new routine, a perfect storm struck. Odin developed a minor throat infection that rapidly worsened. Now, he can barely move and is in a lot of pain. After the vet found oedema in his legs and he was not responding to meds, we had to hospitalize him and he urgently needs a comprehensive treatment plan.

To make matters worse, due to the appalling timing, the insurance company has refused to cover his medical expenses, labeling it as a "pre-existing condition." This leaves us in a financial bind, and the cost of his necessary emergency treatment is beyond our means.

We are utterly heartbroken and desperate. We cannot bear the thought of losing Odin because of a financial obstacle we are asking for your kindness and generosity. Any contribution, no matter how small, can bring us one step closer to securing the care Odin desperately needs.

So far we've had 4 vet visits, bloodwork, antibiotics, 2 types of pain medications and one emergency hospitalization with an ultrasound.

After that he had surgery and 3 drains placed and receiving intravenous antibiotics and pain meds.
