My name is Tanya Meilleur, and I’m the owner of Happy Paws — a space dedicated to training, daycare, and holistic wellness for dogs in our community. Every day, I work with dogs of all ages and needs: playful puppies learning the world, rescues finding their footing, young dogs already diagnosed with hip or elbow dysplasia, high-drive companions recovering from training or play, and seniors living with arthritis.

One thing I see again and again is how much pain, stress, and inflammation can limit a dog’s quality of life and behaviour. And nothing breaks my heart more than watching a dog who wants to run, play, and love freely — but whose body is holding them back.

That’s why we are fundraising to purchase a PEMF therapy mat (Pulsed Electromagnetic Field therapy) for Happy Paws. This healing tool would be available to all the dogs in our care, offering relief, comfort, and recovery support in a way that is gentle, non-invasive, and profoundly effective.
