Help Us Fund a Community Conversation About Dogs in the Park
For over thirty years, neighbors have brought their dogs to Wyman Park to run, play, and build community -- off-leash, in the open, on trust. This shared space has fostered friendships, both human and canine, and helped keep our park lively, loved, and well-used.
The Wyman Park Community Association (WPCA) is organizing a professionally facilitated community conversation to ensure every voice is heard. The meeting will be held on April 24th, and we’ve invited Dr. Lauren Abramson, a nationally respected facilitator in community-based restorative practices, to guide us through this important dialogue.
We need to raise funds to cover the facilitation cost in conjunction with the WPCA. Your donation—whether $10 or $50—will help us come together in good faith, hear one another out, and find a way forward that reflects the needs of all park users.
This isn’t just about dogs — it’s about how we share public space. Please chip in and help us keep our community conversation strong, respectful, and inclusive.
Thank you for being part of this neighborhood.
