Hi all, thank you for making it this far to read about Stacy!
My name is Cienna and I am creating this on behalf of my fiancé, Stephen. His mother, Stacy, passed on January 11th from many complications ultimately arising from her kidney disease. In the last few weeks of her life, Stacy made it clear she wanted a traditionally Jewish Green burial and we are so fortunate to be able to honor her wishes. Unfortunately, because of her extensive medical history and our own journey as we start building a future for ourselves, we are left with little to nothing to cover these expenses.
Stacy was a sergeant in the US Air Force, an exceptional crafter, an experienced baker, and a passionate mother, friend, and sibling. She put up an immaculate fight to stay alive, telling us she had to be there for our daughter, Ophelia. While her body was put through the wringer, she persisted with a positive attitude. You’d never be able to tell she’d just had open heart surgery, device implants, rounds of dialysis, and even a resuscitation! After each event, she was still her spunky and excited self, right up until the very end.
Thank you so much for reading this far and for being curious about how to best support our family in this time. These funds will go directly to pay back our loan taken out to cover the cost of service and burial.
