On February 18th, our family lost our beloved granny/great granny/mother Lois Crandall after her years long battle with colon cancer. She was a mother to Kevin and DeWayne, a grandmother to three, a great granny to two, and a friend of many. Although if you were her friend, you know it was more like being her family. Lois lit up every room she was in with her humor and never hesitated to lend a helping hand to anyone and everyone. She truly embodied what it meant to be a kind and loving person. Her unexpected passing has left us in shock and we’d like to give her a memorial that she not only deserves, but also would have loved. It had been a wish of hers for years to be able to visit Iowa and Chicago again as that was where her family was from and where she grew up. Therefore, our goal is to be able to take her ashes back there where she can be reunited with her parents at their respective graves.
