Help us fix Freddy!!!
Donation protected
Today my friend Renee experienced witnessing her beloved pup get hit by a truck who refused to slow down or stop after striking the pup. She was informed by the vet office/surgeon that surgery to help repair Freddy’s bad break in his femur and a broken pelvis it could cost anywhere from $1000-$6000. Unexpected accidents happen, but with our pets it’s worse because they don’t have OHIP or insurance, and I would hate to see Renee struggle, or have to make a unfavourable medical decision for Freddy solely due to a lack of funds. Please help in any way you can so we all can see Freddy back on his cute little paws this summer!! ♥️

Our dog ran out onto Frederica st today, he was hit by a truck; instead of slowing down or stopping to see if we needed help, the driver hit the gas and sped off, Freddy will hopefully having surgery tomorrow and is spending the night with the vet.... he has a bad break in his femur as well as a broken pelvis.
What really bothers me is that while my boyfriend was in the middle of the road trying to get our dog out of the way, cars continued to drive in excessive speeds and swerve around him..I know it’s my fault for the dog getting loose but are people in so much of a hurry that they can’t slow down?? And to the driver of the truck that sped off have some humanity
A special thank you to the woman who did end up stopping and assisting us in getting Freddy into the car, along with picking up a lot of our things and putting them inside❤️
