History remembers kings, but many powerful women have been forgotten. Isabella De Fortibus tells the true story of one such woman — a noblewoman who held immense power in medieval England.

Hi, I’m Majid, the director of Isabella De Fortibus and welcome to our page.

Like many independent filmmakers, I’ve taken on multiple roles, just like our lovely producer ' Sorcha Verey' who is also the Writer and plays Isabella in the short film, to help bring this project to life alongside a passionate team of collaborators.

We’ve successfully filmed the project and are now in post-production, and we’re raising funds (£2,000) to complete the final stages of editing, sound, music & Film Festival submissions so the film can be shared with audiences around the world.

Set in the 13th century, the film tells the story of Isabella de Fortibus, a noblewoman who rose to immense power during a time when women were rarely allowed influence. After the sudden death of her husband, Isabella inherited vast lands and titles and fought to protect her legacy in a political world dominated by powerful kings and noble families.
