Hello friends and family!
As a lot of you know, my wife Sarah and I are going through the long process of immigrating her to the US from Canada. We’ve been going through the motions of all of this for almost 2 years now. In that time, our savings have been depleted. All of our paperwork, fees, travel costs, and all other expenses that come with immigrating have cost almost $10,000. It’s been an uphill battle from the beginning without legal representation as the Immigration System is very unforgiving and the entire process is very convoluted. We have gotten to a point where in order to continue with the process, we need legal counsel. Which brings us to why we are here
Asking for money in a time like this is not easy for us to do. But we’ve come too far to fail now. We are out of money and out of options. Because Sarah can’t legally work in the US until she gets a green card, we rely solely on my income. The amount it costs to support two people, doesn’t leave room to save quick enough for the help we need.
Any money donated would pay for an immigration lawyer, to help us finish the process so that Sarah can stay for good!
