We didn't make the goal, but were able to finish the film. thank you to everyone who supported us. the money went into film festival fees and additional production costs.
Thank you again!
Hi, I'm Sean Forsythe, the writer and director of Loss, a short indie horror film that’s been a passion project from day one. We've assembled a small, dedicated crew and cast to bring this vision to life—a haunting and emotional story about grief, limbo, and the consequences of our choices.
So far, we’ve made great progress and even captured some stunning scenes. But as with many indie productions, unexpected challenges can arise—and for us, that challenge came in the form of rain and lower temperatures that wiped out one of our key production days. With time and resources tight, we’re now at a standstill until we can secure the funds to reschedule and finish filming.
That’s where we hope you come in.
We're asking for your support to help us cover the remaining costs of production—things like location rentals, gear, transportation, food for the cast and crew, and post-production work like color grading. Even a small contribution goes a long way toward helping us complete Loss and share it with the world.
If you love indie film, horror, or stories that dig deep into real emotion, we think you’ll connect with this one.
Every dollar helps—and if you’re not in a place to donate, sharing this campaign means just as much.
Thank you for supporting independent film, and for helping us tell this story the way it deserves to be told.
