With our documentary short ECO-NOMIC, our film crew is on a mission to prove that businesses can thrive by working with the environment, not against it. In a world where conservation is often seen as the enemy of profit, we believe that bridging the gap between wealth and a healthy planet is not only possible, but necessary. Our journey has brought us to Costa Rica, where we are weaving together the stories of nature and enterprise, showing that abundance starts with respecting what we already have.

At the heart of our film is Fabio, a native of Costa Rica who grew up between two volcanoes in a family of livestock farmers. Fabio’s passion for nature led him to study entomology at the University of Costa Rica, in a country that holds 5% of the world’s biodiversity. Yet, after graduation, he faced a difficult choice: use his expertise to protect insects and the environment, or take the only high-paying job available: extermination. Fabio’s story is one of love versus money, and the creative solutions that can emerge when we choose purpose over profit.
