Help us fund the Christ in the City Album!
Christ in the City is a missionary formation program dedicated to forming young adults and the greater community in becoming lifelong missionaries and knowing, loving, and serving the poor.
For the past 2.5 years, I’ve been recording my fellow Christ in the City missionaries playing their own original songs about faith, prayer, and the streets. The purpose of the album is to give the listener an unique view into the lives and hearts of the Christ in the City missionaries and our friends on the street. Interspersed between the songs are interviews with our friends, voice memos of moments in the mission house, and other sounds of missionary life.
I am fundraising a minimum of $1500 to cover expenses related to mixing, mastering, and distributing the album. It will cost $1000 for mixing and mastering, and $500 will be used to publish the album on all platforms and order physical copies. We’ve already fundraised $240 from a promotional concert which will cover the remainder of mixing/mastering costs not included in this fundraising effort. Any more fundraised will go back to Christ in the City for any other expenses that may be needed to further promote the album, and also toward the program in general.
