A little over three weeks ago, my dog unexpectedly started having seizures. Since then, she’s been diagnosed with epilepsy and started on medication, but we’re still trying to figure out what’s causing them. Although the medication has helped reduce the seizures, she’s recently started having unusual facial movements and changes around one eye that have us concerned there may be an underlying neurological condition.

To get answers, our veterinarian has recommended that she see a veterinary neurologist, and she may need an MRI to rule out a brain tumor or other neurological disorder. The cost of specialist visits, diagnostic testing, and treatment is more than I can manage on my own. She is a huge part of my life, and I’m doing everything I can to get her the care she needs.
