My sister’s home at Jefferson Park, Chicago was badly struck by a CTA bus last night and they have been displaced. This family of six, with 4 kids, is grateful that no one was physically hurt, but they urgently need temporary housing since their house is no longer livable and they’re facing the added obstacle of being unable to retrieve their belongings due to safety concerns.
