Help Us Find Sanctuary Housing Fund
Donation protected
Good morning, afternoon, evening, or wherever your day may find you.
One of the most important things in living a fulfilling life is having somewhere where you can feel at home. This means surrounding yourself with comfort. People who love you. A place to rest your head. This means finding community and support. A family. Not always by blood - but by bond.
We have found a family we can trust not to abuse us, like many of us have struggled with.
Our family of three LGBT people needs your help. Two of us are working full time jobs just a dollar or two over minimum wage for our state ($9.45 per hour pre-tax). We are ideally able to cover administrative fees, the maximum deposit, and the application fee, however, we need help with all the expenses in between.
This includes:
Basic furniture for our resident who lives out of state, and the ticket to get him here.
Things such as hangers, storage, and other household items.
First-time groceries.
A safety fund for one resident’s mother to cover bills for at least a month.
We're planning to move in December 5th - so this gives us about 4 months and a few days from writing this to raise enough.
Thank you for taking the time to read our plea. Any additional funds raised will go to state residency paperwork, an advance on rent, and other fees that may have not been factored initially.
