Help Amaje and His Partner Find Safe Housing
Donation protected
My partner and I are both 19, currently living in our car after being forced to leave our last place, due to violent roommates. We’re doing our best to stay safe, but every day is a struggle as we try to find stability and a place to call home again.
Our AC in our car does not work properly. My partner is prone to heat strokes, and due to us living in GA, the heat is absolutely unbearable. Every morning he wakes up dehydrated and drenched in sweat.
We recently just worked on a contracting job for construction on a house. The owner of the house was the VP for books a million, and he refused to pay the contractor the proper money to cover the job. It has been 3 weeks and my partner and I have received ZERO compensation for the work we did. We have no money for a lawyer so it’s not like we can sue. We’ve just been waiting and waiting and praying someone makes the right decision.
We’re hoping to raise enough to move into a rooming home so we can get off the streets and start rebuilding our lives. Right now, we’re facing a severe lack of immediate needs—no money for food, gas, or even basic car repairs like oil changes. We’ve applied for food stamps, but until that comes through, we’re relying on the kindness of others to help us get by.
Any support will go directly toward securing a safe place to live, covering essential daily needs, and helping us get back on our feet. Your help means a chance for us to regain stability and hope for the future. Thank you for reading and for any support you can offer.
