My name is Hassan, and I am writing to you from North Gaza. I am reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support during an incredibly difficult time for my family. We have been displaced from our home countless times and are facing unimaginable daily struggles just to survive.

The severe scarcity of food, clean water, and hygiene products—combined with the soaring prices of what little remains—has made it nearly impossible to meet even our most basic needs. Simple essentials like flour to make bread and woodfire for cooking have become luxuries we can barely afford. Even preparing one meal a day has become a serious challenge.

This is especially painful with my younger brother, Ahmed, who is only 8 years old. He deserves safety, nourishment, and dignity—but every day, we fight just to provide him with the bare minimum.

We are raising funds to support our basic needs for the next year, including food, clean water, hygiene items such as soap and toothpaste, flour, and wood for cooking. Our goal is to raise $2,000 (CAD) per month, which will cover the essentials for our family’s survival. This adds up to $24,000 (CAD) for one year of support.
