Hello, my name is Gabriella and I am the proud owner of Poppy, the sweet pup pictured here. Poppy is about to turn 4 years old in just a couple of weeks, but instead of celebrating, we’re facing one of the hardest times of her life.

A few weeks ago, Poppy developed what seemed like a small cough. We thought it would pass, but it quickly turned into a debilitating, persistent cough that has left her struggling day by day. We’ve been in and out of the vet, doing test after test, only to be told that “on paper” she’s a young, healthy dog.

Recently, X-rays revealed nodules on her lungs, but our vets are still stumped as to what could be causing this. The next step is a CT scan, which will hopefully give us some answers—but the scan alone is around $3,000.

We love Poppy dearly, and she’s such an important part of our family. We are asking our community for help, any donation, big or small, would mean the world to us as we try to get her the care she needs. Even if you can’t donate, sharing this page helps more than you know.
