Mac is safe!

7/11 update directly from Maggie:
I just want to thank everyone who helped us in our search for him. I’m so grateful to live in a dog loving community. Mac was out for 4 weeks in North Raleigh after getting out of his harness. Mac was going to be visiting for a few days but decided that Raleigh was a city he needed to explore on his own. It was a long 4 weeks of searching for him all over the city. Mac constantly moved around making it hard for us to get him home safely. I also want to give a huge thanks to Balynda the AMAZING dog tracker from BravoK911. She worked with me throughout the whole process. Communicating with me daily and helping me follow the proper steps so we could be ready for Mac’s next move. Balynda and her team are great to work with and are passionate about their work. Mac was finally caught when a homeowner informed us he was asleep on her porch when she arrived from the beach. He trotted off but Balynda immediately set up food and a trap in that area with the hopes he would return. And that he did! And he walked right into the trap and balynda was able to safely catch him. We took him straight to the vet that night. They found no injuries thankfully. Just malnourished. Now I’m asking for support from you once more. If you are able to help with the expenses that were incurred in the search for Mac, it would be GREATLY appreciated. All Proceeds will go towards Bravok911 tracking fees. Thank you once again for ALL of your help! I certainly could not have done this alone.
Maggie
Old info:
Mac went missing in Raleigh on June 7 and has been spotted many times since - but he hasn’t been caught.
Mac was recently rescued in Charlotte and was visiting Maggie in Raleigh with his new owner when he went missing. Maggie has been working with a dog tracker for weeks, but Mac refuses to be caught.
All money donated will go to the dog tracker and help with vet expenses once Mac is finally saved!
If you see him, please do not approach as he will run away. You should not make eye contact with him. But if you have food you can causally drop some and see if he will approach it. Please call/text Maggie with Mac’s exact location at [phone redacted] so she can inform the dog tracker.
Thank you so much.
