Last night our friend was walking Teddy, his 11 month old King Charles Spaniel at their local park, when fireworks were set off. Teddy got such a fright that he ran away onto the main road, and was then hit by a car. This horror resulted in a broken tail, broken pelvis, fluid in his lung and several other injuries. Teddy has to undergo surgery as soon as possible.

Teddy is insured, but unfortunately the insurance will only cover £1000. The likelihood is that surgery and aftercare will cost around 8-10 thousand pounds. Without the money, the vet want to send him home. Teddy needs to be properly looked after!
