Our four beloved dogs—Benny the chihuahua, Stella and Gus the black pugs, and Tank the apricot pug—were the heart of our family. They were our constant companions, always by our side, joining us on daily walks and sleeping with us every night. After losing two dogs in an accident, we brought Gus and Tank into our lives to rebuild our pack. Each one was sweet, loving, and truly perfect in their own way.

Our nightmare began when Benny suddenly became ill, refusing food and trembling nonstop. Despite rushing him to the vet, his test results were so severe that we had no choice but to say goodbye. While we were away, our dog sitter called with devastating news: Stella and Gus were showing the same symptoms. Both had out-of-range bloodwork, and we lost them, too. Tank, our last dog, also became sick but is still fighting for his life. Searching our yard, we found a suspicious pile of wet dog food by the fence—food we never put there. We’ve reported this to the police and animal control, and we’re desperate to find out what happened.

The costs for emergency vet care, necropsies, and lab analysis are overwhelming, and the investigation to find who did this is expensive.
