Dear Friends of Cats in Need,
Cats in Need operates as an all-volunteer 501c3
organization, and we depend on individuals like you to
support our mission of placing cats and kittens in
forever homes.
Today, we face a heartbreaking challenge. In July of
2025, we unexpectedly lost one of our long-time foster
volunteers who, at the time, was caring for 10 rescue
cats. Because we are volunteer-based, absorbing the
expense of fostering this many cats simultaneously
has been impossible for our current resources.
We are so relieved to share that we have secured a
placement at The Cat House, a dedicated Cat
Sanctuary in Parlier, California. Their values are a
perfect match for ours, featuring a mission to provide
a no-cage, no-kill sanctuary offering lifetime support
and medical care for feral and abandoned animals,
and are committed to animal welfare educations.
The sanctuary is prepared to welcome these 10 cats
into their loving environment, but they require a
donation to assist with the substantial costs associated
with this commitment.
We are appealing directly to you, the public, to
bridge this financial gap. Every donation will go
toward securing the lifetime commitment of care for
these 10 cats. Your support ensures they are safe,
healthy, and never displaced again.
