ALEX GUMM IS MISSING
In late February of 2018, after taking a vow of silence, my young cousin Alex McLaren Gumm left his parents home in Maine for the island of Kauai. His family and friends haven't seen or heard from him since. A private investigator has been following leads, but has come up short thus far. (There have been possible sightings of Alex, though nothing concrete has yet been established. )
According to records, Alex hasn't used his mobile phone nor his bank account since his second day on the island back in February of 2018. As you can imagine, this has his parents, extended family and friends terribly worried about him and concerned for his safety. No one is trying to force Alex to return home, they just want peace of mind that he is alive and ok.
Alex's closest friends, four young New England men; Ian, Spensser, Hunter and Alec, are planning to take time away from work and loved ones in the next few months to go looking for Alex on the island of Kauai. Their plan is to follow up on leads that have come in with a "boots on the ground" effort. I want to help them achieve this and need your help! My goal is to raise enough money to cover a portion of their expenses, including airfare, lodging and transportation/car rental and any other incidentals that may arise as a result of their efforts to find Alex. Please help me by donating and sharing this page. No donation amount is too small.
In the event that Alex is found before they travel, I will of course, gladly refund everyone's kind donations.
