**ALL donated funds will go to creamation services for our mother, ginny (Virginia), her cat Ember, (which is a separate fee) and to cover ALL costs, including a few personal things to take care of in her name, her obituary ($4 per word) and her memorial service that we will have in her honor. We are trying to raise funds for ginny to cover all the expenses, and give her the send off that she deserves after the hard life she went through..but we WILL work with whatever we get, we don't expect to hit the goal number!! Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts!!!
My name is Antonia O'Brien and I am here to speak on behalf of my loving family. On this new years morning, Early Jan.1st 2023, I was awoken by the fire marshalls at 7:25 am, only to be told that my mother had died in a house fire, she and her cat Ember, died together.. he was in her arms. He was her love, her support friend, and her true companion; her gorgeous black cat.
As this is such a sudden and awful trajedy, we do not have the funds necessary to take care of her aftercare and send her off respectfully. We'd like to have my mother cremated along with her cat, Ember. It's what she would have wanted. I did not want to go public with our financial needs, but she was such a great character. She deserves more... Ginny was quirky, and fun. A beloved mother, sister, daughter grandmother, and friend to so many. Our "ginnyfrog", Virginia O'Brien.
This came as such hard devastating shock, as some of the family were just with her and had just spoken to her and now she's gone. Ginny is survivied by her two loving daughters, Antonia and Nicole, her caring brother David, and her sweet sisters, Judy, Doris and Peggy. We are all stunned and horribly shocked by this deep shocking loss.
Ginny was only 59 years young and had so much life, she was always living her life to the fullest and making ones around her feel cared for and welcomed. She had a strong love for the arts, for frogs, coloring and photography, she was so very creative and she always provided a shoulder for anyone who needed it. She loved thunderstorms and pizza so much. I only wish that we had more time with her.
So please.. I ask you all with graciousness, please help us out with our costs for ginny so that we can cremate our mother, her obituary and send her and her cat on to the next phase as lovingly and basically as possible. Your munificent gestures will not be forgotten, your donations will be gratefully appreciated and much needed during this period of grieving, hope and unity. Thank you all so very much. You are all amazing.
