We need your help to pitch Finalee at CES!

After six long years, we are ready to share Finalee with the world—and where better than the world's biggest tech event!
The first CES took place in New York City in June 1967. Since then, thousands of products have been announced at the yearly show, including many that have transformed our lives. It is billed as the single most important convergence of new tech, tech giants, and tech media in the world and Finalee was selected from a very competitive pool to be one of the exhibitors at CES 2020.
Why is this important? It will mark Apple’s first visit in decades, sending their Senior Director of Global Privacy to attend roundtable discussions alongside Google, Facebook, Proctor & Gamble, and the FTC. Since Finalee is all about protecting user’s data, we feel confident we might just “happen” to run into some very important people.
Over the years some very memorable tech has made its debut at CES including the VCR, CD player, Camcorder, HDTV, Satellite Radio, Xbox, Plasma TV, Blu-Ray DVD, Android and Apple devices, wearable tech, driverless cars, and 3D Printers. Finalee is the world’s fastest app for finding somewhere to eat, things to do, and places to stay, all without ads, comments, ratings, or reviews. We’re faster and more accurate than Google, TripAdvisor, and Yelp—combined. We have worked so hard to create something that would allow small businesses to have equal visibility with the bigger players on a 100% positive platform, free from trolls. We’ve especially focused on doing something that all of the other apps and big websites on the planet seem unable to: protect user’s data. Why? Because we do not need anyone’s data. Because of this, we are definitely in a David vs. Goliath type of position, but we believe we’re ready for the fight!
This year over 10,000 ad industry executives will attend CES, including the CEOs of every advertising agency and conglomerate, plus the chief marketing officers of every major brand, from Procter & Gamble and Unilever, to General Electric, American Express, and Samsung, plus all the major automakers. Finalee could very well find a partnership with anyone of these companies. Or none of them. But, we have to try.
At this point, Finalee is 100% self-funded and, while this is an honor to receive the acceptance at CES, we know this will be expensive, hence the fundraising for this trip.

The booth (the smallest) with electricity and dedicated internet is $2,350. We would like to send our founder and researcher which would mean two round trip flights, food, and lodging. Additionally, there are collateral materials and equipment that need to be shipped there and back as well as the purchase of two monitors for displaying our marketing message. We will also need a quick turnaround on new signage and additional collateral materials to be printed. We are planning for $10k knowing that it could be more, but it could also be less.
This is no one’s burden but our own, but a friend of Finalee’s recommended that we at least ask, hinting that many people are frustrated with Yelp and reviews and data breaches and the like and that we might find some assistance from new friends. We would be honored and stoked if what we’re doing inspires anyone to help. Any amount you would like to contribute, no matter how small, will be so completely appreciated. Please, wish us luck!
Finalee can be downloaded on both the App Store and the Play Store right now!
