My name is Alaa Safi, I'm an actor and filmmaker.
I've been working on my film project since 2018.
It started as a spark from the depths of my heart that quickly turned into an obsession and became the short film "Coming Home" (please watch below).
Today, I am raising funds to tell the whole story as a feature film: "Icaros". It follows my character Sami, a neurodivergent actor who embarks on an intense journey to find his voice against all odds, and the tumultuous process he undergoes while auditioning for his dream role. I have a wonderful cast (Denis Lavant, Abe Bueno-Jallad) and crew who are eager to turn this beautiful script into a movie. With your help, that spark could resonate with so many around the world!
