My neighbors need help. We have lived across the street from the DiPietro family for 22 years and they are more than just friends, they are family. Recently, a small home equity loan that they took out years ago was taken over by a shady servicer who fought with them to either pay the amount in full or they were taking their home. Although they were fighting back, the stress was too much for them and Kelly ended up with bells palsy, had a stroke, and suffered from extreme anxiety. They thought they were fixing the situation, but Vinny was so worried about taking care of Kelly that their house was taken without their knowledge and they didn't even have a chance to save it. These circumstances are very rare and the only way they can get their house back is to fight in court. The legal fees are extremely expensive and taking a toll on them.
