Hello Everyone,

Thank you for taking the time to donate or share this go fund me. It truly means the world to us and we will never find the words to thank you.

For those of you that know my sister, you know shes not very good with people. She’s awkward and most times, can’t find the right words to describe what she’s thinking or feeling.

Thats never been further from the truth when it comes to Sky. She could spend days, weeks, years talking about her and the multitude of ways that she changed her life.

We adopted Sky on November 13, 2018. We like to think it was destiny and that truly she picked us. We found her in the South LA animal shelter and were honestly looking to adopt a German Shepherd. (Nobody tell Sky that). However, the moment we walked by her cage we couldn’t walk away. She was sitting all the way in the back away from people but when we approached the cage she walked up and licked our hands. We knew then that she was meant to be part of our family. However, we weren’t first on the adoption list and the only hope we had of getting her was for the person in front of us not to show up. We didn’t want to get our hopes up but before we even got home we had picked out a name for her. Thankfully it all worked out… thank you to that person in front of us in line.

Our best friend is the sweetest goofiest girl and she’s been there for us through our hardest battles, but now it’s our turn to be there for hers.

Which is why it breaks our heart to have to say that she has been diagnosed with an adrenal gland tumor. Her vet has informed us that the best course of action will be either surgery or radiation. Unfortunately, both require large amounts of expenses.

We can’t imagine life without Sky, she is such an important part of our family. Not fighting this battle alongside her is simply not an option. Which is why your donation or you sharing this post is so important to us. It gives us the opportunity to do just that.
