Hello everyone! My name is Kate.

I work in the veterinary industry, and very often we see many strays brought into us - unwell newborn/abandoned kittens, sick elderly cats, pregnant kittens/cats, and those in desperate need of help.
Sadly, we aren’t allowed to keep them in the clinic as there’s no space to house them, so my colleagues and I step in to foster them ourselves. We do our very best to care for them and find them safe, loving homes where they can finally get the life they deserve. ❤️

It’s heartbreaking to witness, and I would like to start this GoFundMe to raise money for the Stray Fund that i have put together, which will go towards Spaying and Neutering, as well as vital treatments these cats desperately need.

Every year, thousands of cats are born on the streets without homes, care, or safety. Many of these kittens never make it past their first year due to hunger, disease, or accidents. Adult cats struggle daily just to survive. 

Every single day, rescues and shelters are becoming more overwhelmed by the growing stray cat crisis. There are simply too many kittens and adult cats being born on the streets, abandoned, or surrendered, and not enough space or resources to care for them all. Many rescues are at full capacity, with fosters stretched thin and waiting lists overflowing. Sadly, this means countless cats are left without the safety, care, and love they desperately need.

The reality is heartbreaking-
overcrowding puts enormous strain on shelters, staff, and volunteers, and ultimately it’s the cats that suffer most.

This crisis continues to grow because there simply aren’t enough resources to spay, neuter, and care for the countless strays in our communities. Without help, the cycle repeats—more kittens are born, more cats suffer, and rescue groups become overwhelmed.

I want to put out this message to encourage everyone to spay and neuter their cats – it’s one of the most important ways we can help the stray cat crisis and end the suffering of these poor cats.
