My brother has become the victim of a crooked legal system. He was arrested and detained on a gun charge when there was no gun. Denver's district attorney agreed to charge my brother with four felony gun charges after he attempted to stop a suicide. The police department in Denver at no point in time question my brother or his girlfriend nor did they do a search of his apartment after He reported the incident .
Right now the district attorney in Denver is under major scrutiny for her cop bias judgments, and despite what the law is, she knowingly charge my brother although she received his information under less than honest terms. Due to the lack of evidence in his case along with the suspicious behavior of the police department in Denver, many attorneys have told us that not only is this case beatable but that he also has a case in civil court against the state as well as the county. But since covid-19 pandemic has affected whole world, our family is having a hard time coming up with the absorbent legal fees that it will take inorder to take on such a huge group of people. In a time where our voices as Black Americans are finally being heard we asked the even if you're able to donate $5 you do so so that another black man isn't railroaded into a life sentence for something he did not do.
