Help Us Fight for Our Mother’s Life - Urgent Cancer Treatment Needed

Hello everyone,

My name is Gabriela Cantos, my brother Dario Cantos and I are reaching out with deep sadness and hope in my heart. We are asking for your support to help our mother, Cecilia Margarita Lopez, who is bravely facing a new and devastating battle with cancer.

Eight years ago, our mother fought breast cancer with incredible strength and courage. After treatments, surgeries, and a long road to recovery, we believed the worst was behind us. Sadly, we have recently received heartbreaking news the cancer has returned, and this time, it is even more aggressive.

Over the past few weeks, our mother has undergone multiple medical visits and tests. Recently, her health took a serious turn for the worse when fluid accumulated in her lungs, making it extremely difficult for her to breathe. She now depends on an oxygen machine just to get through each day. Seeing her struggle for every breath is beyond heartbreaking.

In the coming days, she will undergo a micro-surgery to address the immediate issues, but that will only be the beginning. She will then have to start chemotherapy to fight the cancer aggressively. Her doctors have informed us that time is critical. Because of the seriousness of her condition, we must continue her treatment in a private hospital here in Ecuador, where she can receive the urgent and specialized care she needs. Unfortunately, private care comes with overwhelming costs that we simply cannot afford on our own.

The expenses for oxygen equipment, ongoing hospital stays, surgery, chemotherapy, medications, and post treatment recovery are piling up quickly. Our family has already exhausted all our resources trying to keep up, but we cannot do this without help.

Today, We are humbly asking for your support. Any contribution no matter how big or small will go directly toward covering my mother’s urgent medical costs. Your generosity could truly make the difference between life and death.

Ayúdanos a Luchar por la Vida de Mi Mamá - Urgente Tratamiento Contra el Cáncer

Hola a todos,

Mi nombre es Gabriela Cantos, mi hermano Dario Cantos y hoy les escribimos con mucha tristeza pero también con esperanza en el corazón. Estamos pidiendo su apoyo para ayudar a mi mamá, Cecilia Margarita Lopez, quien está enfrentando una nueva y devastadora batalla contra el cáncer.

Hace ocho años, nuestra madre luchó con una fuerza increíble contra el cáncer de mama. Después de tratamientos, cirugías y un largo proceso de recuperación, creímos que lo peor había quedado atrás. Lamentablemente, hace poco recibimos una noticia desgarradora: el cáncer ha regresado, y esta vez de manera aún más agresiva.

Durante las últimas semanas, muestra madre ha pasado por varias consultas y exámenes médicos. Su salud se ha deteriorado gravemente cuando se le acumuló líquido en los pulmones, dificultándole mucho la respiración. Actualmente depende de una máquina de oxígeno para poder vivir día a día. Verla luchar por cada respiro es algo que nos rompe el corazón.

En los próximos días, se someterá a una microcirugía para atender los problemas inmediatos, pero eso será solo el comienzo. Luego deberá iniciar tratamientos de quimioterapia para combatir el cáncer de manera agresiva. Los médicos nos han explicado que el tiempo es crítico. Debido a la gravedad de su estado, debemos continuar su tratamiento en un hospital privado aquí en Ecuador, donde pueda recibir la atención urgente y especializada que necesita. Sin embargo, los costos de la atención privada son extremadamente altos y están fuera de nuestro alcance económico.

Los gastos por el equipo de oxígeno, las hospitalizaciones, la cirugía, la quimioterapia, los medicamentos y el proceso de recuperación se están acumulando rápidamente. Nuestra familia ya ha agotado todos sus recursos tratando de enfrentar esta situación, pero no podemos hacerlo solos.

Hoy les pidimos humildemente su ayuda. Cualquier contribución no importa el monto será destinada directamente a cubrir los costos médicos urgentes de mi madre. Su generosidad puede marcar la diferencia entre la vida y la muerte.

Nuestra mamá siempre ha sido el pilar de nuestra familia una mujer llena de amor, fortaleza y compasión. Ha dedicado su vida a cuidar de los demás, y hoy ella necesita que todos cuidemos de ella. Estamos luchando con todas nuestras fuerzas, pero necesitamos de ustedes para darle una verdadera oportunidad de recuperación.
