With our hearts in our hands, we’re asking for your support to help my father-in-law, who was involved in a tragic and devastating accident while returning home from Connecticut , USA on March, 19 2025. While returning, he was struck by a trailer on I-95 S Milford, between exits 39 and 40 in the aforementioned state; causing him to leave the road and crash into a tree. He was trapped against the tree and the driver's side door to the collision. The impact was so severe that he suffered multiple bone fractures and, most critically, a traumatic brain injury that has left him in a coma.
This has been an incredibly painful time for our family. Medical expenses have already exceeded one million dollars and he has not yet woken up from his coma. We are deeply grateful that the government will cover part of this overwhelming cost, but there is still a significant amount left for us to pay and we simply don’t have the means to cover it on our own.
Our faith in God is strong, and we truly believe my father-in-law will come out of the hospital. However, we know he will need long-term, specialized, and costly rehabilitation especially for his motor functions due to the extent of his head injury.
We, as his family don't have the enough financial resources to cover these mounting expenses alone. We're already spending more than $150 a day, he's not in New York, where we live, He is in Connecticut, two hours away. That’s why we’re reaching out to you with humility and hope, asking you to lend a hand. Any contribution, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to giving him the care he needs.
We’ve shared photos on this page of the vehicle after the accident, and of him when he arrived at the hospital, not to shock, but to help you understand how serious this situation is and why we are asking for your help.

Ayúdanos a luchar por la vida de mi suegro!
Con el corazón en la mano, hoy pedimos su ayuda para apoyar a mi suegro, quien sufrió un accidente trágico y devastador mientras regresaba a casa desde Connecticut, Estados Unidos, el dia 19 de marzo del 2025. Durante su retorno, fue embestido por un tráiler en la vía I-95 S Milford, entre la salida 39 y 40 en el estado antes mencionado; lo que ocasionó que se saliera de la carretera y se chocara con un árbol. Quedando atrapado contra el árbol y la puerta del conductor en el choque. El impacto fue tan grave que provocó múltiples fracturas en su cuerpo y, lo más crítico, una lesión craneoencefálica severa que lo mantiene actualmente en coma.
Este ha sido un golpe muy duro para nuestra familia. Los gastos médicos ya han superado el millón de dólares y aun no despierta del coma. Agradecemos profundamente que el gobierno esté cubriendo gran parte de esta enorme deuda, pero aún queda una suma significativa que debemos pagar y, sinceramente, no tenemos los recursos para afrontarla solos.
Tenemos una fe inmensa en Dios y confiamos en que mi suegro saldrá del hospital. Sin embargo, somos conscientes de que necesitará una rehabilitación larga, especializada y costoso para poder recuperar, al menos en parte, su movilidad y calidad de vida.
Nosotros como familia, no contamos con los recurso económicos suficientes para cubrir los gastos que se avecinan, cabe mencionar que desde ya estamos gastando diariamente más de $150 por dia, dado que el no esta en New York, estado donde vivimos, sino en Connecticut; a 2 horas de distancia. Por eso, hoy acudimos a ustedes, con humildad y esperanza, para pedirles que nos extiendan la mano. Cualquier ayuda, por pequeña que parezca, será un paso más hacia su recuperación.
En esta página hemos compartido fotos del vehículo tras el accidente y del estado en que llegó al hospital, no para impresionar, sino para que puedan dimensionar la gravedad del hecho y entender por qué necesitamos su apoyo.
